OpalescenceTM PF Take-Home Teeth Whitening
By far this line has the most variation in strengths (Between 10–45% carbamide peroxide). That way, you can feel secure in your dental office’s recommendation for either a long-term or short-term treatment plan. It’s a take-home system with custom trays that your dentist will have made. Then you squeeze the gel out of a syringe onto the tray when you’re ready to use it.
The 10% carbamide peroxide formula is outstanding if you experience tooth sensitivity during whitening. It can be worn for long periods of time, day or night, so it’s also a good choice if you prefer to whiten while you sleep.
This system is also best recommended if you have severe tooth staining that requires a long-term commitment. The dental office has options of higher or lower concentrations to pick from that best fit your treatment needs and can be adjusted along the way.
Why We Like It: It’s extremely versatile for treatment.

You can get a fast chairside whitening at the dentist’s office. At most, a member of the dental staff will apply the gel in three 20-minute sessions. After each application, you and the whitening specialist can decide whether more is needed.
The main draw for this product is both speed and some extra attention for you, the patient. Tell your dentist’s office you have an event on the horizon or would like to spend a little extra to treat yourself.
Why We Like It: It’s fast, both to whiten and in time spent.
Ask Your Dentist About: Pricing. It may be a little more expensive than our other offerings, but it’s worth it.

OpalescenceTM Endo Non-Vital Whitening Gel
So, when your tooth gets injured/has to be treated by a dentist, sometimes it can go a little darker than the rest of your teeth. Dentists can treat this with something called the “walking bleach” method. Basically, OpalescenceTM Endo non-vital whitening gel is placed inside your tooth at the dentist’s office, and you walk around for a few days while the gel does its work. Then you go back to the dentist, get it removed, and take a look at the results!
Why We Like It: It gives new life to a tooth that is on its last leg.
Ask Your Dentist About: Whether you might need to follow up with take-home teeth whitening.
Average Wear Time: 1–5 days per treatment.Find a Dentist
OpalustreTM Chemical and Mechanical Abrasion Slurry
This balanced brew was made to remove white and brown imperfections on your teeth (as long as they’re closer to the surface). For example, your dentist may have told you these imperfections are from having too much fluoride as a kid. If you’ve tried a tooth whitening regimen like Opalescence GoTM or OpalescenceTM PF teeth whitening, and it didn’t lessen the appearance of the imperfections, Opalustre slurry may be an option to further treat your teeth.
Why We Like It: It gives a little extra help without going too far.
Ask Your Dentist About: If the spots or discoloration will be helped with a surface treatment.
Average Wear Time: One visit to your dentist.Find a Dentist
