40 Million Adults Currently Suffer from Sensitive Teeth

Sensitivity happens, and it can be caused by a number of factors. That is why we created Opalescence™ Whitening Toothpaste Sensitivity Relief. It has all the benefits of our Original formula, with added potassium nitrate, which helps to relieve sensitivity.

Outstanding Flavor and True Enamel Strengthening

Both Opalescence Whitening Toothpaste formulas have a refreshing Cool Mint flavor that is created with three exotic mints designed to freshen breath and leave your mouth feeling clean and cool. They are also sweetened with xylitol, which may reduce the risk of tooth decay.

Both Opalescence Whitening Toothpaste formulas feature a quality tri-silica blend that works to actively, yet gently, remove surface stains. The low RDA (Relative Dentin Abrasion) factor of 90 means that it can become your daily toothpaste for life.

Why is RDA important?

Dentin is up to four times softer than enamel.

The FDA limits the RDA of whitening toothpastes to 200, and the ADA limits it to 250 because high abrasion formulas have an erosive effect on dentin and enamel. Higher RDA toothpastes have shown increased dentin wear, which can make you more susceptible to tooth decay, gum recession, and tooth sensitivity. This is why most whitening toothpastes say you should only use them for a couple weeks at a time.

Opalescence Whitening Toothpaste has half the RDA of other leading whitening toothpastes. It is safe for daily long-term use while keeping your smile bright and healthy.

Opalescence Whitening Toothpaste has less RDA compared to other whitening toothpastes
